The Richterhaus is a family project. One after another, everyone wanted to join in. At first just two, then eventually six. All the better. Everyone brought their knowledge and skills. We laid floors, plastered walls, built furniture, and planted trees.

So many perspectives on this house. Sometimes hard—and seldom easy—to get everyone around one table. Materials. Colors. Surfaces. We rummaged through the past, searched in the present, and looked to the future—often losing track of time along the way.
